Common Questions

What is included with the venue rental?

Every facility rental includes 5 Hours of event time, seating for up to 90 guest, clean up during and after your event, 80 of our white luxurious chiavari chairs, 10 round tables, your choice of taffeta linen, catering tables, head table with premium linen, LED lighting, unlimited ice, garden access, prep kitchen with tables and fridge.

Can we use our vendors?

Absolutely! We allow our clients to bring their own vendors. Our venue is designed to accommodate external service providers for seamless collaboration.

Is there an outdoor space available?

Yes, Shafaii on Federal features a beautiful garden area, perfect for outdoor gatherings like barbecues and wedding ceremonies. This adds a charming touch to your event while providing a delightful atmosphere for all of your guest to enjoy.

Do you offer food tastings?

We host complimentary food tastings each quarter for our booked clients, and you’ll receive a personal invitation once your event is reserved. If you’d prefer a private tasting, we’re happy to arrange an individual appointment for an additional fee.

Are outside caterers allowed?

We are happy to welcome outside caterers and vendors to help make your event truly special. To ensure everyone’s safety and a smooth experience, all caterers must comply with applicable Houston Health Department and Texas Department of State Health Services regulations.

For food service, we kindly ask that the following be provided:
• A valid Texas Food Handler Certificate
• A valid Certified Food Manager (CFM) Certificate for at least one designated person-in-charge

Are outside vendors allowed?

Outside vendors such as DJs, bands, cake designers, fruit vendors, and similar professionals are also welcome. We simply request that all vendor information be submitted to us prior to your event date so we can coordinate effectively and ensure everything runs seamlessly.
